This is 16mm film scan from the STS-1 launch showing an out the window view from Seat 1 (John Young) during liftoff. Flight deck audio is real and is taken from a later shuttle flight, synced to the launch. Flight director audio is overlaid and I threw in the PAO feed at select spots as well. I was inspired to put this together after seeing a very similar video from Victor Sierra on YouTube. So credit to Victor for the original idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H5NiYsN-6M This is a fresh reference scan of that same footage and a fresh color grade, upscale, and edit of the audio files which are taken from the NASA Audio Archive on archive.org.
