Our first watch reaction to Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 2, “Shoot the Moon.” This one wastes absolutely no time: Dex/Bullseye is back in the mix, Matt and Karen are still operating out of Josie’s, Fisk makes life even worse by turning New York against Matt, and the AVTF keeps proving they are a full nightmare blunt rotation. On top of that, the episode introduces Angela del Toro in a much bigger way, which gives this chapter some real forward momentum for the street-level side of the story. This episode also gives us a lot of the stuff that makes Born Again fun to react to: pressure closing in from every direction, Fisk weaponizing public perception, Karen staying active in the fight, and Daredevil throwing down when Josie’s Bar gets hit.
