Iraq's National Security Council has authorised the Iran-aligned Popular Mobilisation Forces to defend itself, following a US attack on its headquarters. The strike on Tuesday killed at least 15 members of the armed group, which is integrated into Iraq's armed forces. The house of its leader Faleh al-Fayyadh was also struck, but he was not there at the time. Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque joins live from the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
