'We were rote learning my lawyer's number, because we're prepared for being detained.' The BBC spoke to a protester near Delhi's Jantar Mantar minutes before she was detained by the police. Parts of Delhi have been turned into a fortress, with tens of thousands of security forces deployed, amind the Cockroach Janta Party''s call for a major protest on Saturday. The protesters are seeking electoral reforms and the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of manipulating voters' lists. The Election Commission has denied this and Kumar is yet to comment on the resignation demand. #delhipolice #delhicjpprotest #cjpprotest #cjpdelhiprotest #abhijeetdipke #cockroachjantapartyprotest #CJPProtest #DelhiProtest #JantarMantar #GyaneshKumar #ChiefElectionCommissioner #CockroachJantaParty #10OctoberProtest #ElectionCommission #SIR #VoterList Click here to subscribe to our channel 👉🏽 https://bbc.in/3whmDp3 ----------------------------------- This is
